Laura And Her Violin

I like to think of myself as an indie violinist — I may be classically trained, but my true love is performing, arranging, and recording in contemporary genres, both acoustically and electrified.

There’s nothing I love more than getting to sit in on a studio session with fellow artists and friends. I often collaborate with award-winning indie artist Belle Shea, whose single “Cheyenne” features my own solo improvisations. Other artists I’ve regularly collaborated with include Laura Mock, Riley Burke, MALINDA, and producer Jason Sill.

Alongside my work in the recording studio, I teach some really cool students how to kick violin booty! You can also find me behind the scenes working as a composer, arranger, and music director. I recently released a spooky little Halloween mini album called the LADY MAC MIX TAPE built on themes from two hours of music I composed and performed live each night for Dirty Knees’ Production of Lady Macbeth, and made my professional chamber music debut alongside Violet Wang at the Time Out featured COUCH CLASSICAL in July 2024.

Also.. I sing!!! Stay tuned for more of that to come….

If you’d ever like to collaborate, please reach out — classical music, Irish fiddle, country, contemporary pop, rock, I love it all! Just give me a shout, and I’ll be there with my violin in hand!
